Baddeleys and Campbells Ratepayers Association
The aim of the Baddeleys and Campbells Ratepayers Association (BCRA) is to promote the wellbeing, environment and development of the beach communities of Baddeleys Beach and Campbells Beach.
We provide a forum within which members of the Community can identify, discuss and deal with local issues and concerns, and provide a unified voice to represent those issues and concerns to the Auckland Council.
Notable successes include playgrounds, boat ramps and community picnic facilities at both beaches, and active, popular and well patronised tennis and sailing clubs.
The BCRA has a long and successful history of working with the council of the day to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
The BCRA also facilitates a Neighbourhood Watch program that provides members with a weekly security patrol. Neighbourhood Watch volunteers check the general security of properties, looking out for things such as open windows and doors, running waterpumps and any other things that may seem out of the ordinary.
